ABOUT RHETT PITLICK
• Son of Lance and Lisa (Wittwer) Pitlick
• Father was a defenseman for the Gophers from 1986-90 (captain in 1989-90) and skated in 144 career games with 39 points (10 goals, 29 assists) before an eight-year career in the NHL with Ottawa and Florida
• Mother was a two-time Big Ten champion gymnast for the Gophers (team MVP in 1988) and went on to compete with USA Gymnastics
• Brother, Rem, was a First Team All-American for the Gophers (2016-19) and currently plays for the Montreal Canadiens organization
• Cousin, Tyler Pitlick, played at Minnesota State and skates in the NHL
• Selected in the fifth round (131st overall) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens
• First player in Minnesota history to wear No. 77
